The World Hernia Project team came together united in the pursuit of making critical surgical materials accessible across socioeconomic classes, around the globe. This project was developed at Stanford and MIT, with funding supplied by a development grant.
Our mesh has the same design, strength, and porosity as that marketed by major medical device manufacturers, but at a fraction of the price.
